We should support and provide services for families, businesses, and civic institutions.

- Long term solutions for homelessness and addressing the current quality of place issues that Longview is facing.

- Youth entrepreneurship programs at junior and high schools, LCC, and through existing programs such as the YMCA and Youth & Family Link

- Comprehensive drug prevention and treatment programming in collaboration with law enforcement, schools, and community organizations

- School gardens, including programming such as bake offs, book and food clubs, and cooking classes. This is a wonderful pipeline to entrepreneurship opportunities for young people as they start food-related businesses.

- Family empowerment should be city policy. We can work on strengthening family leave options, social services, diversity and inclusion training, and more.
